OFFLINE MAIL

Take the messages you need with you.

Prepare for a journey or an unreliable connection by saving selected emails on your own device. The originals stay in your mailbox; you choose which copies are available offline.

01

Choose what stays on this device.

Enable offline mail for the account, then save the messages you need. The offline view keeps these copies separate from your live mailbox.

Each account can hold up to 100 saved messages and 50 text drafts, within a combined limit of five accounts and 50 MiB per device. Copies expire within seven days and may expire sooner with the associated session.

  • Manual saving, account by account
  • Read saved message content without a connection
  • Attachment names are shown; attachment files are not saved offline
02

Write now. Review and send when connected.

Create a text draft while offline. When you reconnect, explicitly transfer it into a new server draft and finish it in the usual composer.

An offline draft never sends automatically or replaces a remote draft. A local save confirms a copy on this device, not delivery to the mail server.

03

Built for a personal browser profile.

Offline content is encrypted in the browser’s local storage, with a key available to that same profile. Anyone who can use your unlocked profile can also open those copies, so choose a personal device.

You can remove the saved data. A disconnected device learns about remote revocation after it reconnects, and the browser may clear local storage. Offline copies are for convenience, not a long-term backup.
