Install from the browser you use.
Settings → Application shows the available install option or instructions for your browser. The installed app opens your inbox and uses the same account sign-in.
Installation options vary by browser and operating system. Evolena is an installable web application; availability of a browser installation prompt does not mean it is a separate native app-store application.
Choose when your device should notify you.
Choose no alerts, alerts while Evolena is open or Web Push where supported. Enable each account and device explicitly, and set quiet hours for times when you do not want interruptions.
Notification text is generic and does not include the sender, subject or email content. Opening a notification returns you to Evolena, where account access still requires a valid session.

Stay in control of updates.
When an update is available, Evolena gives you a choice before refreshing and tries to preserve open drafts. If a draft cannot be saved, the editor remains open.
Notifications depend on a valid session, connectivity and browser or system permissions. Power-saving modes, a fully closed browser or notification restrictions can prevent delivery; they are not a guaranteed alert channel.
